Yesterday I participated in the above race. I was planning to race in the 100 Km event however I arrived a bit late. Would you be leave it, I got up a 6am but got lost on the way over there!
Anyhow I was in time for the 60 Km event and completed in just under 2 hours. The course is pretty hilly and the road surface is pretty crappy for a fair part of the course. The start and finish area was somewhat disappointing since is was on the main road in front of the gardens and not closed to traffic, this really destroyed the atmosphere at the finish.
Other than that I did enjoy the race and to make up for the shorter distance I went for a 10 Km run when I cam home.
