DIY WordPress Manual
Free DIY WordPress Manual
If your are planning to setup a commercial website then there are a few things you will need to attend to:
- Market Research
What “burning” problem are you resolving, what keywords will people use to find you, what products or services will you sell. - Your Website
The domain name and hosting, website software, site appearance and how will customers buy and pay eg payment gateway, shopping cart etc. etc. - Content and sales strategy
Your posts and pages that should contain text, audio and video and user generated content such as FAQs, testimonials, blog comments etc.
The above issues are the core of this DIY manual and on completion you will have these issues covered. We will only touch on these subjects below and start to implement some basics. This will need to be the issues you will want to cover once your website is up and running having completed this manual. However we will look in detail at Sales Pages, how to setup your first online payment buttons and a bit of SEO to start generating some traffic to your website. OK here are the other things you will need to cover:
- How to Monetise your website
Sales pages, affiliate sales, paid consulting, paid forums or member only content - Get Traffic to your website SEO, PPC, social media, feeds, forums, affiliates, book marking, ping, mirror, directories and ezines
- Testing
A saying of James Schramko is: “Unless you test it’s all BS!”. This is things like website analytics, conversion rates, onsite visitor behaviour, landing pages, PPC ads and keywords, split testing of different calls to action etc.
And you thought setting up your website was just a matter of a few clicks, right?
My manual is a step-by-step guide on getting your site up and running without taking shortcuts you might have to pay for dearly later on. You will generate a true site for a proper Internet Marketing website to generate you an income.
The even better news is that this manual is free and you only need to sign up as a member to recive support or to request additions or changes to the manual! To build up the knowledge I have now took many years and $1,000′s. For example I went on a Internet Marketing cousre with James Schranko in 2009 that cost $4,000. So how come I’m giving this away for free? Well the same as WordPress, OpenOffice, Zen-Cart, Linux, Apache and many other opensource tools they are free. I’m doing the same I’m providing the manuals I write for free and only ask you to make a small contribution to my time for support and hosting costs if and when you sign up as a member.
OK for downloads see my downloads page here.
Or have a quick look at the table of contents of the manual first(the number at the end of each topic is the page number):
