wszIM Provides tools for Internet Marketing

Essentially these are widgets and plugins I’ve written as part of my zenWP plugin that integrates Zen-Cart into WordPress. However once I started using the zenWP plugin I got so used to some of the functionality that it provides that I also wanted to have this available on my other websites where I don’t actually require or use a shopping cart.

The core features it provides at this stage are (at this stage it only works if you have the Thesis theme installed):

• a widget to display a random banner ad form those definded in a table (this can also be displayed in the header if you install some additional code provided)
• Provides a plugin (short code) to list all subpages in a page, eg insert [wszim_subpages page_id=#] (where # is the id of the main page) into the page Products and it will list all product categories for you as a table with three columns and thumb nail images. For this to work you have to put the path to the image in each subpage you have in this list using the field: Thumbnail Image
  which you will find as part of every post and page when you scroll down. Be sure to enter the complete path eg http://your-domain.com/images/my-thumb.jpg
  This is also a great way to list all your product categories on your main landing or welcome page.
  If you want to control the sequence of the pages displayed in the table then set the sort order (or sometimes referred to as menu order by WordPress) in the page settings.
